An Officer Answers

As always, follow Breakthrough Assault on facebook for your chance to ask us a question.

01:27:30 – Mike asks “Having seen the art for a potential ‘Operation Sealion’ that BF never got round to doing, if there ever was a counterfactual Sealion source book released, what interesting 1940/41 units would you like to see?”

Pickett-Hamilton Fort | The Pillbox Study Group Website.

01:40:40 – Darren states: “No question, I’m just really happy and really excited. #Hockeyreallyislife #BigInCanada”

01:40:50 – Quentin asks: “From Canada (Edmonton Tactical Tabletop WarGame Club)…
I’ve never played Team Yankee, but as the fellas in the club like it, iv decided to build an army. My Czech T72 army is almost completed, and it takes up far too much space in the display cabinet…. which makes me ask two questions..

  1. How is it possible to enjoyably deploy such a large army on a 4′ x 6′ board?
  2. Will all the time and $ sunk into a Czech army be worth it, in terms of a relatively competitive list?
Keep up the good work, gentlemen. You too, Eddie.”

01:50:25 – Brent asks: “A question from Canuckland, when choosing SP artillery for a Late War Canadian army, would you play Priests or Sextons?”

The one with “sex” in its name.

01:52:13 – Scott asks: “If we ever regain our freedom in this world, where in the world would you like to play some games? What venues/tournaments? Pretend someone else is paying for it…”

01:57:30 – Vincent asks: “Regarding wargame and evolution/adaptation to the new technologies:
Blood Red Skies is going digital via kickstarter this week-end.
Do you see battlefront doing the same thing for their own games? Do you think it would be a good thing?
I personally love the idea of BRS digital but I don’t think it would work very well for a big game like FoW.”

02:03:25 – Jacob asks: “Working on some Canadians for Flames of War, what would you folks say are the pros and cons between running a Rifle company or a Motor company?”

02:13:25 Bill asks: “Why didn’t any of you have T-80’s in your you and whose army lists last podcast?”

Because I already did it

02:16:05 – Cameron asks: “What is your ideal FJ list? Core formation and support?”

Eddie is nothing if not on message.

02:21:05 – Steven asks: “When planning, building and or painting an army what kind of sources do you use as a guide to give the units a historically “correct” look. Any books or website you can recommend?”

02:25:50 – Vick asks:  “Team Yankee: What do you guys feel about proxy armies? (If favourable response, any thoughts about building your own interesting nations like Japan, S.Korea, BEST KOREA, Egypt Jordan etc??)”

Shoot and Scoot (and hidden track)

02:31:00 – The Emperor is with us (in Dice of War custom dice form) as we Shoot and Scoot.
